hi . my name is charles webster baer . this is my life story .
I was born in santa cruz , california , in 1969 . I went to high school in newport , rhode island . in 1994 I graduated from the university of hawaii at hilo on the big island with a b.a. in political science . in 1995 I moved to santa fe , new mexico .
at this point , I decided that what I wanted to do was to come up with an environmental policy . a simple and logical and effective environmental policy that everyone could understand and support . a plan for humans to save earth . so I set out to do just that . it would take me six years .
in 1999 I moved to portland , oregon .
in the spring 2000 I came up with the idea for gig . gig is global internet government . www.globalinternetgovernment.com
. I have been promoting gig on the internet ever since .
so , it took me six years to come up with gig and nine years to promote gig .
so I completed my first goal , figure it out . I completed my second goal , tell everyone . I dont really have a third goal , unless you count health and financial stability .
now I live in bend , oregon , with my fish and my beard . next year I may go back to school or move to the coast or just kick it here in central oregon .
ah yeah
looking back , I dont really have any regrets . I had something to say and I said it . and I continue to say it . and I will continue to say it . loudly . and its a good time . I enjoy it . and I also feel its something that I had to do . duty . responsibility . karma .
in this third millennium , civilized society must plot the right course now and move forward now .
so its been a great ride and when I hit 40 in 2009 I can just mellow out .
